Payroll: rules, schemes and period calculation

Payroll in FIXA is built from three levels: rules (what the reward consists of) → schemes (who each rule applies to) → calculation (for a day or a period).

Create a rule

Payroll → Calculation rules → Add rule. A rule is made of components that add up:

  • % of services — scoped to all services, a category or a specific service;
  • % of product sales;
  • Salary (fixed per period), hourly rate (by schedule), rate per working day;
  • minimum guarantee, tenure bonus, team bonus (turnover threshold), schedule premium, % of net profit.

For example, "50% of services + 10% of products" is two components in one rule.

Assemble a scheme and bind professionals

Calculation schemes → Add scheme: add rules in priority order (tiers are evaluated top-down; keep "Standard" last as the fallback).

The scheme also has a Bind to block: bind to a specific professional or to a whole position (the rule then automatically covers every professional with that position, including future hires), with a location and an effective-from date.

General settings

General settings define: the accrual date (by visit payment date), the acquiring fee policy (who covers the bank fee — the business, the specialist or a split) and assistant compensation (see the assistants article).

Calculate for a period

Calculation for the period: pick dates (current month by default), optionally filter by position and click Show. The table shows each professional''s working time, services delivered and their value, product sales and the calculated salary.

Period calculation — table by professional

The Create statements and accrue button locks the calculation into a statement — finalization and payouts come next, see Salary payouts.

FAQ

Why is a professional''s salary 0? Most often — no scheme is bound (or it takes effect later), or there are no completed paid visits in the period.
