How to connect your salon's Telegram bot
Your Telegram bot is your salon's own bot: clients get visit reminders with action buttons and can book online right in the chat. The bot belongs to you, carries your name and only works with your clients.
Step 1. Create a bot in BotFather
- Open the official @BotFather in Telegram.
- Send
/newbot. - Give it a name (e.g. "Maria Beauty Salon") and a username (must end with
bot). - BotFather sends you a token — a long string like
1234567890:AA.... Copy it.
Step 2. Connect the bot in FIXA
Open Settings → Integrations → Telegram, paste the token and press connect. FIXA validates the token, sets up the connection automatically and shows a green status with your bot's name.
The token is stored encrypted and is never shown again — not even to you. To switch bots, disconnect the current one and connect a new one.
Step 3. Invite your clients
The integration page shows a t.me/your_bot link and a QR code — put them at the reception desk, on social media, or send to clients. A client opens the bot, shares their phone number with one tap — and FIXA matches them to your client base by number.
Clients who book through the online-booking widget see a "connect Telegram" prompt right on the booking confirmation page — one tap, no phone number typing.
Test it
The "Get a test link" button sends a test message to your own Telegram so you can be sure everything works.
What's next
- Turn on Telegram notifications — reminders with "Confirm" / "Cancel" buttons.
- Turn on booking through the bot — clients book right in the chat.
